So after Nationals a few of the girls decided to go and get there nails done so that we could feel more like girls. Alissa had never had them done before and she was so excited after they were done she was prancing around all girl like..lol it was so funny.

So september 17 our volleyball team went to Newport News Va. for a tournament at Christopher Newport University...we did really well at the tournament and after one of our games we got to go to Virginia Beach and it was so much fun this was my first time going to a beach that i remember anyways and I had so much fun the water was really warm but way salty I DID NOT LIKE IT AT ALL!!! LOL

Homecoming weekend

This past weekend, I also went to the soccer and basketball alumni games.

Homecoming and Eastern Mennonite

So Saturday was our homecoming football game. We missed the whole game except the 4th quarter. when we walked in everyone started telling us good job on our "W" you see we had a game at noon at Eastern Mennonite University like and hour and a half away, and the football game was at 1 so we didn't get back till 3 so we didn't think people knew that we won but they had announced it like 10 min before we got there. it was so cool. the football team ended up loosing 21-13 it wasn't a very good game. We had like 4 or 5 interceptions in just the 4th quarter. it was a sad game for our team like 3 people got hurt :(

So Saturday we also had a volleyball game against Eastern Mennonite University. We did really good the first game, and then the second game we got lazy and let them beat us. But after that the next two games we worked our butts off and beat them at their homecoming with all of their alumni and parents there it was great!!!

So on Tuesday we had a volleyball game in West Virginia, and we played Concord University, it was a really long van ride and the roads were windy i was suprised i didn't get to sick lol. We won our game in 3 matches. we kinda struggled the 2nd and 3rd match but in the end we pulled out a W!!!

Babysitting

So this past Monday Heather and I were in the gym watching a couple of FHE groups playing volleyball. While talking to one of our married friends who was really upset with my coach because he was promised so many things when he came here including a spot on the varsity basketball team but didn't get any of it. He was really upset so we told him to call his wife and go out to dinner with her and we watched his son chaz. it was really fun they needed a night out. they were kinda nervous to leave him but he was such a good baby.

He likes me better then Heather!! :)

Conference Cheese Cake

In between conference sessions this morning Heather and i decided to make some cheese cake. It was actually really good we could have let it sit in the fridge a little longer but it didn't turn out to bad.
