Happy Halloween!!

Well, Macks is only 6 months old so going trick-or-treating was kind of out of the question. So we had planned on going to our wards trunk-or-treat, so we bought the candy got Macks in her costume and waited for Dad to get home. After Dad got home my parents stopped by to see Macks and to pick up my dads external hard drive. After my parents left she was starting to get grumpy so we gave her some food and put her down for a nap. When she woke back up we had missed the trunk-or-treat, so we decided to just hang out at home and have trick-or-treaters come to our house. Well that turned into a bust. We only got four trick-or-treaters all night and Macks was down by for the night by 7 so our fun filled night on Macks first halloween turned into a quiet night of mom and dad time!!!

5 Months

Macks is now 5 months old! She is growing so fast and learning new things everyday! Here is a little bit of what she is doing now.

  • She now not only rolls to the right but can roll to the left.
  • She can sometimes roll front to back.
  • She has done 2 complete rolls in a row.
  • She knows mom and dad and will try to find us when someone else is holding her, and then smiles at us.
  • She has the biggest personality that keeps growing everyday.
  • She keeps surprising us with new sounds and we love them.
  • She is an eating machine, she eats like 8-10 times a day and it never seems enough.
  • We are trying to teach her how to eat cereal from a spoon, she still hasn't figured it out but we will keep trying.
  • She can still wear most of her 0-3 month clothes, and can fit in a few of her 3-6 month clothes.
Here are a few pictures of her 5th month!!!

Having fun playing with her rings!!!

Loves rolling over, but doesn't understand that she cant do it after she eats!

We've Got a Roller Folks!!!

Last Friday Macks decided she wanted to roll over. So the Dr during her 4 month check-up that with in 2 to 3 weeks he wanted her to be able to roll over from front to back. And at that point she absolutely hated tummy time, and pretty much still does. I didn't think she was going to be rolling over for a while. So on Friday I was trying to get ready to go to a volleyball tournament, so I laid her on the ground on her back and turned on Sesame Street while I went to get dressed. Well a couple minutes later I heard her yelling (when I say yelling it is not crying just talking very loud) so I came out to check on her and she was on her belly. It turns out she rolled over and couldn't get back. So I tried to see if she would do it again but no luck. So I told John and her was bummed he missed it. But don't you worry, while I was at volleyball she rolled over for him!!! And as of today she loves rolling. She still gets stuck on her belly and can't get back. But I feel that with as much as she rolls to her stomach that she will learn real quick how to get back.

We keep trying to catch her rolling over but she doesn't like to preform in front of the camera. But on Saturday I was able to get a picture of the surprise on her face when she actually rolled over!!!

I Did It!!!!

1 month pictures!!!

So this happened a long time ago but I just got the pictures and I have been trying to catch up so I figured I would catch up now. So my sister-in-law Shanna took Macks' 1 month pictures and they turned out so good!!!
