This year for the 4th of July I had to be in Grantsville to help my basketball girls run a few of the blow up games. So John and I decided we would go to the parade as well, even though he hates parades.
So the day started out with us having breakfast at our friends Ben, Kelsey and Lucy's house. It was super yummy!!! After that we all drove over by the high school and found a perfect spot that fit all of us in the shade!!!! The parade was really good and I think John even liked it.....or maybe it was just some of the cars!! Well after the parade we headed over to the soccer fields where everything was happening and found out that we were not only in charge of the basketball shoot but also the baseball throw. John wanted to sit in the shade so he ran the baseball throw and I helped out with the basketball shoot. It was pretty fun but super hot. So after a couple hours we headed home and had to wash Macks' outfit because she had a massive blowout during the parade. After we got her all cleaned up and dressed again we headed out to brother and sister-in-laws house for a BBQ. We had a good time there and had some super yummy food. After the BBQ we got to watch some fireworks that they had bought while in Wyoming. Surprisingly Macks' loved them. She didn't cry when they went off but stared at the pretty lights and colors!!! I think she will take after her mommy when it comes to fireworks!!!
